We are seeking a Python software engineer to join our Continuous Integration (CI) team. This role is ideal for engineers who want to take ownership of critical infrastructure systems, improve workflow efficiency, and contribute to hardware-aware CI pipelines. Mid-level engineers with experience are encouraged to apply, and ambitious junior engineers are also welcome. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop internal dashboards and alerting systems to monitor hardware health, performance, and availability in real time. Develop and maintain Python packages that support CI workflows and hardware testing automation, both internally and for the open-source community. Analyze, monitor, and improve the ESP-IDF CI architecture, focusing on stability, performance, and scalability. Collaborate with CI, infrastructure, and firmware engineers to identify bottlenecks, improve observability, and streamline testing pipelines. Contribute to code reviews, automated testing, and documentation to ensure systems are maintainable, reliable, and scalable. Mentor and guide junior team members where possible, sharing best practices in coding, testing, and CI workflows. Requirements: 2 to 4 years of professional software development experience. Strong Python skills, including scripting, CLI tools, automation, or backend service development. Basic understanding of databases concepts. Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows. Good written and spoken English, with willingness to contribute to technical documentation. Nice to Have: Experience with CI/CD pipelines, such as GitHub Actions or GitLab CI/CD. Basic knowledge of Docker and containerization. For any questions, please feel free to send me a message.
