Core Java Developer

Role: Core Java Developer Location: New York (Hybrid, 2-3 days onsite in a week) Duration: Fulltime Job Description: The team supports some of the time critical and revenue generating applications for investment banking business which is rapidly renovated and expanded while still being nimble & agile to cater various business needs. The ideal candidate will have to work closely with Product Owner, Development & QA engineers to deliver timely and quality deliveries. The candidate should be adaptive to a continuous changing and fast paced environment, be able to successfully multi-task, and thrive in a dynamic, fully engaged developer role. Skills Desired: • Experience of agile and scrum methodologies • Hands-on developer with strong database skills • Core Java developer experience • Integration technologies - MQ / Xml / SOAP / JSON • Proficiency in Database Management Systems (SQL Server / Mongo) and designing / querying • Experience in unit testing, integration testing • CI / CD - Gradle/Maven, Jenkins, GIT • Sound understanding of Enterprise Architecture Patterns, Object Oriented Analysis, Design and Programming • Exposure to working in a global delivery team • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills • (Optional) Prior experience in investment banking.
