Devops Infrastructure Engineer

Role: DevOps & Infrastructure Engineer Location: Southampton (Hybrid Working) Salary: £90,000 £110,000 + Benefits Kubernetes at Scale | Infrastructure Ownership | High-Impact Engineering Environment Were partnered with an exciting and forward-thinking technology business that is continuing to invest heavily in its engineering capabilities. Theyre looking for an experienced DevOps & Infrastructure Engineer who wants genuine technical ownership and the opportunity to work on infrastructure that directly supports critical production services. This is not a traditional DevOps position focused on maintaining legacy environments or simply working through tickets. Youll be given the freedom to build, automate, optimize and improve production infrastructure , working on technically challenging problems where reliability, scalability and performance are genuinely important. Youll take ownership of production Kubernetes environments , developing and scaling platforms while driving improvements across automation, resilience and observability. Youll also work heavily with Terraform, Ansible and Linux , helping create highly automated and reliable infrastructure across physical and virtual environments. Youll be part of a small, highly skilled engineering team where your ideas and technical input are genuinely valued. Youll have the opportunity to work closely with talented engineers, influence architecture and take projects from initial concept through to production.
