Description

Location: Dubai, UAE Experience: 5–10 Years Role Overview We are looking for experienced Backend Engineer – Java to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade backend applications and microservices for digital banking platforms. The role focuses on building scalable Java applications using Spring Boot, implementing secure REST APIs, and supporting cloud-native deployments within modern banking ecosystems. Key Responsibilities Backend Development Design, develop, and maintain Java-based backend services and REST APIs. Build scalable microservices using Spring Boot and Spring Cloud. Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Follow Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices and ensure high-quality code. Application Engineering Develop middleware services and enterprise integrations. Maintain code quality through unit testing with JUnit and code reviews. Implement security best practices to protect applications and user data. Troubleshoot production issues and support application enhancements. Cloud & DevOps Deploy containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes. Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments. Work with AWS and Azure cloud services to support scalable applications. Participate in Agile ceremonies and continuous improvement initiatives.
