Full Stack Software Engineer – AI Location: San Francisco, CA — Hybrid, 3+ days/week Compensation: $185K–$260K base + equity Experience: 2–7 years Employment: Full-time About the Opportunity We’re recruiting for an early-stage AI startup building production-grade software to automate complex workflows in the financial and professional services space. The company already has significant customer demand and is expanding its engineering team to build integrations, connectors, AI-powered workflows, and core product features. This is a highly hands-on opportunity for a full-stack product engineer who wants to build from scratch, ship directly to users, and work closely with an experienced founding team. What You’ll Do Build and ship full-stack products end-to-end across frontend, backend, and AI systems. Develop greenfield applications and features from scratch. Build integrations and connectors used by real customers. Design and ship AI/LLM and agentic features into production. Work across TypeScript, React/Next.js, Node.js, and PostgreSQL. Own projects from initial idea and architecture through deployment and iteration. Work directly with users to understand problems and turn feedback into product improvements. Help shape technical and product decisions in a small, fast-moving engineering environment. What We’re Looking For 2–7 years of full-stack/product engineering experience. Strong TypeScript, React/Next.js, and Node.js experience. Genuine full-stack capability — not frontend-only or backend-only. Experience building and shipping products end-to-end. Experience building greenfield applications from scratch. Production experience with AI/LLM features used by real users. Experience in an early-stage or high-performance startup environment. Strong product mindset and ability to communicate directly with customers. CS/Engineering degree preferred. Strong academic background or other clear evidence of exceptional technical achievement/building ability. Based in the SF/Bay Area or willing to relocate quickly. Comfortable working in-office at least 3 days/week. Compensation $185K–$260K base + equity. Visa transfers transfers, may be considered
