Java Developer (Mid-Level)

We're Hiring: Java Developer (Mid-Level) Location: Alfragide, Lisbon (Hybrid model – 3 days per week in the office) We're looking for a skilled Java Developer to join an Agile team and contribute to the evolution and maintenance of critical backend solutions. What you'll do: • Develop new features and enhancements for Java backend applications • Analyze, troubleshoot, and implement fixes for identified issues • Participate in the design and implementation of technical solutions with a high degree of autonomy • Develop and maintain Oracle database logic • Support junior team members through mentoring and code reviews • Actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and task estimation activities • Ensure code quality, security, and performance standards are met Required skills: • Solid experience in Java development (Core/SE) • Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases • Experience reading, adapting, and developing Oracle Stored Procedures • Good understanding of Java EE architecture and specifications (EJB, JMS, JPA, CDI, JAX-WS, JAX-RS) • Hands-on experience working in Agile/Scrum environments • Proficiency with Git and Maven • Fluency in both Portuguese and English (written and spoken)
