Java Developer – Cloud & Microservices

Employment Type: Full-time/Contract Java Developer – Cloud & Microservices Job Description: We are seeking a hands-on Java Developer experienced in Spring Boot, AWS, microservices and Docker . The role involves modernising legacy applications, developing integrations and delivering scalable cloud-based solutions. Key Responsibilities: Develop Java/Spring Boot applications and RESTful APIs. Support legacy Java-to-Spring Boot migrations. Design and implement microservices and system integrations. Build and maintain AWS-based CI/CD pipelines. Deploy applications using EKS, ECS and EC2 . Create and manage Docker containers. Write automated tests, troubleshoot production issues and participate in code reviews. Use AI tools responsibly for coding, testing, debugging, documentation and migration analysis. Required Experience: Strong Java and Spring Boot development experience. Knowledge of REST APIs, integrations and microservices design patterns. Hands-on AWS experience, including CI/CD. Understanding of EKS, ECS and EC2 and when to use each. Practical Docker and Kubernetes experience. Familiarity with messaging tools such as Kafka, RabbitMQ or SQS is desirable.
