Be a part of something BIG! We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer with a strong focus on backend engineering to join the Paragon K8aaS engineering team. The ideal candidate should have expertise in Java-based backend development, distributed systems, cloud-native technologies, and Kubernetes platforms. Make an impact by Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Java and Spring Boot Build and support cloud-native applications running on Kubernetes platforms Develop and maintain event-driven architectures using Kafka Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to platform engineering initiatives for K8aaS Collaborate closely with frontend developers, DevOps engineers, SREs, and product teams Troubleshoot production issues and provide production support when required Optimize application performance, scalability, reliability, and observability Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automation initiatives Ensure coding best practices, security standards, and quality engineering practices are followed Skills For Success Strong experience in Java development (Java 17/21 preferred) Experience with Spring Boot, REST API development, and microservices architecture Experience with Apache Kafka and event-driven architecture patterns Understanding of Kubernetes concepts and container orchestration, including Pods, Deployments, Services, Ingress, ConfigMaps, Secrets, and Helm charts Knowledge of scaling, resiliency, and cloud-native application concepts Familiarity with cloud infrastructure platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP Preferred Skills Experience with Docker and containerization technologies Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or ArgoCD Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Splunk Familiarity with Linux systems and shell scripting Exposure to frontend technologies and frameworks Soft Skills & Expectations Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Good communication and collaboration abilities Ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams Ownership mindset with a collaborative approach to teamwork Ability to work effectively in agile and evolving environments Ability to support production operations and participate in incident resolution activities when required Rewards that Go Beyond Flexible work arrangements Full suite of health and wellness benefits Ongoing training and development programs Internal mobility opportunities Your Career Growth Starts Here.
