DevOps/Cloud Infrastructure Developer

We are looking for a hands-on DevOps and Cloud Infrastructure Engineer who can support, improve, and troubleshoot modern software delivery pipelines while also contributing to cloud infrastructure automation using Terraform. This role is suited for someone with strong CI/CD operational experience, general software development background, and practical infrastructure-as-code knowledge. The ideal candidate understands how applications move from source control through build, test, release, and deployment, and can diagnose issues across pipeline tooling, cloud infrastructure, application configuration, and development workflows. This person should be comfortable working closely with software engineers, platform teams, and technical stakeholders to improve reliability, deployment speed, automation, and maintainability. Location: Charlotte, NC, Dallas, TX or Alpharetta, GA Requirement 5 years of related DevOps engineering experience: Experience wit h GitHub is requir ed. Experience wit h Microsoft AI Foundry, AI agents, and Azure DevO ps is strongly preferred. Strong hands-on experience in a DevOps, platform engineering, infrastructure engineering, or CI/CD engineering role. Practical experience designing, maintaining, managing, and troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines. Experience administerin g GitH ub and/or Azure DevOps organizations, including project/repo setup, team configuration, permission management, branching strategies, GitHub Actions or similar workflow automation, and code review processes. General software development experience, including the ability to read and write code or scripts to support automation, pipeline tooling, integrations, and operational tasks. Familiarity with enforcing DevOps governance standards, including required checks, security scanning, and controlled deployment processes. Experience managing CI/CD platform infrastructure, including pipeline templates, service connections, and organization-level controls. Working knowledge of cloud infrastructure concepts, including compute, networking, identity, storage, secrets management, monitoring, and deployment automation. Hands-on experience wit h Terrafo rm or comparable infrastructure-as-code tooling. Ability to read, understand, modify, and troubleshoot Terraform configurations and modules. Experience troubleshooting build failures, deployment failures, environment configuration issues, authentication and permissions problems, and pipeline reliability issues. Familiarity with source control, package management, artifact repositories, release management, environment promotion, and deployment approval workflows. Ability to work with developers to improve delivery processes, reduce manual steps, and increase deployment consistency. Understanding of secure DevOps practices, including least-privilege access, secrets handling, auditability, dependency management, and controlled deployment processes. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to investigate technical issues across multiple systems and teams. Clear communication skills, especially when explaining pipeline, deployment, or infrastructure issues to both engineering and non-engineering stakeholders. Strong Preferences Experience wi th Microsoft AI Foun dry, including AI project setup, model integration, agent development, evaluation, deployment, or operational support. Experience building, configuring, or supporti ng AI age nts or agent-based workflows. Experience wi th Azure Dev Ops, including Azure Repos, Azure Pipelines, Boards, artifacts, environments, service connections, and release workflows. Experience integrating GitHub with Azure-based services, Azure DevOps, or enterprise identity and security controls. Experience with observability tools, including logging, metrics, tracing, dashboards, and alerting. Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript. Experience improving pipeline performance, reliability, security scanning, automated testing, and deployment governance. Experience supporting cloud environments in Microsoft Azure. Familiarity with enterprise change management, compliance requirements, and production release controls. Experience working in cross-functional engineering environments with application developers, cloud engineers, enterprise architects, and security teams. Ability to deploy and configure new repositories/projects with standardized governance (branch policies, templates, approval workflows). Hands-on experience managing build agents / runners (Azure DevOps agent pools or GitHub self-hosted runners), including scaling, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
