Frontend Developer

React Frontend Engineer | 80–100% | Switzerland We’re looking for an experienced React Frontend Engineer to join a product-focused engineering team building modern, high-quality web applications. You’ll work closely with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers, taking ownership of frontend development from initial concept through to production. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys building polished user experiences and cares about clean, maintainable code. What you’ll be doing: • Build and deliver product-focused features using React and TypeScript • Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams on product goals and the technical roadmap • Develop intuitive, performant, and scalable user interfaces • Work with shared UI components and contribute to a consistent frontend experience • Write, review, and improve maintainable application code • Develop a strong understanding of the product and contribute ideas to how it evolves • Test and document the systems and features you build What we’re looking for: • 3+ years of professional software development experience, with a strong focus on React, TypeScript, and frontend engineering • Good understanding of frontend testing principles • Strong CSS knowledge and familiarity with CSS-in-JS and/or Tailwind • Excellent attention to detail and a strong product mindset • Someone who genuinely cares about usability, performance, and how a product looks and feels Nice to have: • Experience working on large or complex TypeScript applications • Strong understanding of scalable frontend architecture • Experience integrating frontend applications with backend APIs and dynamic or real-time data • REST API design experience • Node.js experience • Previous experience within financial services or fintech
