Python Developer

Python Developer Location: Charlotte, NC / New York, NY Work Arrangement: Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite Duration: 12 Months Contract Required Skills Strong Python development skills with experience building scalable, enterprise-grade applications using Python, FastAPI/Flask/Django, REST APIs, and distributed architectures. Strong understanding of Capital Markets products, Risk, Finance, Regulatory Reporting, Stress Testing, or CCAR processes, with the ability to translate business requirements into technology solutions. Experience working with large datasets and relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, including data modeling, SQL optimization, ETL/data processing, and data quality controls. Hands-on experience with event-driven and messaging technologies such as Kafka, MQ, or similar platforms used in high-volume processing environments. Experience with Python data processing libraries and frameworks such as Pandas, NumPy, PySpark, or similar technologies. Familiarity with modern software engineering practices including CI/CD, automated testing, Git, Agile delivery, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms. Experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs and microservices using Python frameworks such as FastAPI or Flask. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with business users, Risk, Finance, and Technology teams.
