Lead Python Developer

Our Client is continuing to invest heavily in modern technology to better serve their customers and partners. They’re launching a brand-new B2B collaboration platform and are looking for Python Developers who enjoy building from scratch and want to make a real impact on a highly visible, greenfield initiative. What You’ll Do • Build and maintain scalable APIs using Python and FastAPI to support a modern B2B web application serving thousands of users • Collaborate closely with frontend engineers (Vue), business analysts, and testers to design and deliver new features end-to-end • Develop and support data synchronization between legacy systems and a new, modern platform (TPA 2.0) • Participate in design discussions, technical decision-making, and iterative delivery in an agile environment • Help establish best practices and technical foundations for a brand-new product What We’re Looking For • 5+ years of Python development experience, with a strong focus on building APIs • Experience working with FastAPI (or similar modern Python frameworks) • Hands-on experience with data integration or data synchronization across systems • Comfortable working in a small, collaborative, fast-paced team • Ability to work onsite in Columbus, OH three days per week • Fast API Nice to Have • Cloud experience (AWS or similar) • Experience working on greenfield development or net-new platforms • Exposure to modern frontend frameworks and API-first design
