Senior Java Software Engineer

Senior Java Developer Hybrid – 2 days a week (O’Fallon, MO) Interview Process: 3 rounds with the client (2 virtual, final round in-person – all 3 are very technical with white boarding exercises) Java development Java enterprise development with Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate with unit testing or even 'test first' experience Software design experience, mostly in regard to troubleshooting scaling/performance issues Having some design pattern knowledge would be helpful Knowledgeable in multi-threading--Java specific is a bonus Knowledgeable with relational queries in regard to searching specific indices at once and pagination An understanding of scalable distributed systems based on both micro-services and Kafka communication An understanding of Kafka client filtering for high throughput streams is a bonus Experience with BDD Cucumber regression testing is a bonus Native JDBC experience would be a good bonus
