Senior Java Developer

Working within a mature product environment built on a microservices architecture, you will have the opportunity to develop new features from scratch, collaborate with experienced professionals across multiple countries, and work with the latest technologies and engineering practices. What will you do? Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java backend services and microservices. Build new features based on functional requirements and solution architecture. Contribute to cloud-native application development using AWS services and containerized environments. Participate in CI/CD improvements, pipeline optimization, and deployment automation activities. Develop high-quality, clean, maintainable, and testable code while following coding standards and engineering best practices. Perform automated testing and support quality assurance activities to ensure reliable software delivery. Collaborate with developers, architects, business analysts, and international stakeholders in a distributed Agile team. Share knowledge proactively and contribute to the continuous improvement of team processes and technical excellence. What do you need to succeed? 5+ years of professional experience in Java development, including analysis, design, implementation, and delivery of enterprise applications. Strong experience with Java 21 and modern backend development practices. Solid knowledge of Spring ecosystem: Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA, Spring MVC, and Spring Security. Experience designing and developing microservices-based applications. Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud services, including container and database solutions. Strong understanding of REST API design, integration patterns, and API management concepts. Experience working with Docker, Kubernetes/EKS, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines. Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and Microsoft SQL Server. Knowledge of automated testing frameworks such as Cucumber is considered a strong plus. Familiarity with Terraform, performance testing, monitoring, or observability platforms such as Datadog is a plus. Excellent communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and openness to new ideas.
