Java Software Engineer

About the role We are looking for a Java Software Engineer to join an international product company developing enterprise-grade network security solutions used by thousands of organizations worldwide. You will become part of the Security & Compliance engineering team, working on a complex core product and building scalable backend services using modern technologies. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java applications Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from design to deployment Build and maintain REST and GraphQL APIs Develop microservices and distributed backend solutions Work with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB and Neo4j Participate in architecture discussions and code reviews Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance Collaborate closely with international cross-functional Agile teams Continuously improve code quality and engineering best practices Requirements 3+ years of commercial Java development experience 2+ years of hands-on experience with Spring Boot Experience building microservices Experience working in Linux environments Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Neo4j or similar) Basic knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes Understanding of data modeling and scalable architectures Experience working with Agile/Scrum Strong problem-solving skills Upper-Intermediate English or higher Nice to have Kotlin experience (or willingness to learn) Kafka or other messaging systems Reactive Programming GraphQL CI/CD experience Networking or cybersecurity background Angular knowledge
