Role : Senior Software Engineer( Airline/Aviation Domain) Skills: Java, microservices, Azure, Kafka, Azure Event Hub Location : London, UK (2-3 days/week onsite) Type: Permanent Note: "We are not offering sponsorship" Technical skills Strong programming and development skills (e.g., Java, equivalent technologies used within Client environment). Software design principles and clean coding practices Performance, scalability, resilience, maintainability, and security considerations API-based architectures and integration layers (e.g., REST, OpenAPI, AsyncAPI) Distributed systems and complex legacy environments Cloud-native application development using Microsoft Azure and/or AWS DevOps practices and toolchains, including CI/CD, Jenkins, ArgoCD, Helm, and automated deployment pipelines Software maintenance, including incident resolution, root cause analysis, and post-inci dent reviews Azure managed services and cloud platform capabilities Cloud-native and microservices architectures Database design, data modelling, data analysis, and data integration concepts Event-driven and event-streaming architectures (e.g., Kafka, Azure Event Hub) Version control systems (e.g., Git) Microsoft Fabric and Power BI Custom Visual development (advantage)
