Description

Data Engineer Are you passionate about data and ready to help build modern analytics solutions? We are looking for a Data Engineer to join a collaborative in-house data team, working on enterprise-scale data platforms that transform information into valuable business insights. The Opportunity Working alongside analysts, data professionals and business stakeholders, you will play a key role in designing, developing and maintaining data solutions that support reporting, analytics and decision-making. Key Responsibilities Build and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines. Develop and support data warehouse and data modelling solutions. Ensure data quality, integrity and security. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data projects. Create and maintain technical documentation. Optimise data storage and processing performance. Support data governance and DataOps initiatives. Keep up to date with emerging data technologies and best practices. Requirements Strong SQL skills and understanding of database concepts. Experience with, or a strong interest in, data warehousing. Programming experience in Python or a similar language. Understanding of ETL/ELT concepts. Analytical and problem-solving mindset. Strong communication and teamwork skills. A genuine desire to learn and develop within data engineering. Desirable Skills Exposure to cloud data platforms such as Azure, AWS, GCP, Databricks or Snowflake. Experience with data orchestration tools. Knowledge of data governance principles. Familiarity with Git or other version control tools. Understanding of DataOps or DevOps practices. Experience within professional services, legal services or financial services environments.
