Founded in 2022 and backed by a remarkable group of early-stage investors, we're a fast-growing company of 15 ambitious engineers, researchers and commercial talent based in Amsterdam. ‍ About the role As a backend software engineer, you will play a significant role in the development of the Coolset platform. We follow API-first principals with the latest and greatest serverless cloud technology, using Google Cloud Platform. You will be working on building new features, projects, and integrations for the platform. This role requires someone with an entrepreneurial stance towards problem-solving, flexibility in action, and a hands-on mentality while taking accountability for your projects. Strong communication skills and a creative-oriented mindset for solving problems are a must. Your profile You are committed to an AI future, in both your way of working and in the products you build You have 2+ years experience working in a software engineer role, preferably at a high-growth startup You love working with opinionated web frameworks and follow best practices to build world-class APIs: we use Django Rest framework, FastAPI and FastMCP You have a DevOps mentality - not all solutions should be solved with code! You find the right balance between quality and output. You launch fast and iterate and don't get stuck in processes You're already based in The Netherlands, preferably in or around Amsterdam Nice to haves Experience with frontend development using React Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform Our recruitment process 30-min video screen - Over Google Meet, we get to know you and you get to know us.
