Our challenge We are seeking a skilled Java Developer with strong experience in enterprise payment systems to join a strategic Digital Payments initiative. Candidates with a solid background in payment processing and modern Java technologies who are eager to learn emerging payment technologies are encouraged to apply. Required Qualifications 10+ years of hands-on experience in Java development. Strong expertise in Java 8/11/17 , Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Microservices. Experience with enterprise payment systems, including one or more of: Strong understanding of payment transaction lifecycle, settlement, reconciliation, and payment orchestration. Experience developing RESTful APIs and integrating with external payment services. Hands-on experience with SQL databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, etc.). Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other messaging technologies. Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines. Experience with Git, Maven/Gradle, and Agile/Scrum methodologies. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based payment applications and microservices. Build and enhance APIs supporting payment processing, settlement, and transaction orchestration. Collaborate with business, product, and architecture teams to deliver high-quality payment solutions. Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability. Ensure compliance with banking security standards and best practices. Participate in code reviews, testing, production support, and continuous improvement initiatives. Contribute to modernization efforts supporting next-generation payment technologies, including Stablecoin and Digital Asset initiatives. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field. 8+ years of software development experience. Strong expertise in Java, React.js, and Node.js. Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, and DevOps methodologies. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
