IT Engineer/Architect (Python, ETL)- 354

Role and Overview of the role The role focuses on building integrations into the Coupa application, supporting indirect procurement services, and working closely with offshore developers. Responsible for building integrations into Coupa and other procurement applications. Acts as an on-site developer to understand business needs and coordinate with offshore teams (primarily in India). The onsite developer will act as a communication bridge, ensuring requirements are understood and deployed effectively. A major initiative is migrating from batch/file based integrations to event driven architecture. Daily tasks include gathering requirements, designing solutions, developing integrations, and supporting offshore developers. Top Skills l Python l ETL tools l SnapLogic familiarity or willingness/ability to learn SnapLogic l DataStage (used in some integrations) l Other integration methods: APIs, batch, file, mailboxes, MFT. Nice to Have l AWS Lambda l Coupa OR Beeline (other procurement app is considerable) Position’s Contributions to Work Group : - Work with business partners to understand business goals and implement solutions - Drive solutions to completion Typical task breakdown: - Provide work estimates associated to complete tasks - Understand deployed solutions and support functional change as needed - Drive software solutions through the Software Development Lifecycle, from requirements through deployment and support - Work with business partners to understand challenges and provide solutions - Assign tasks to other developers located in other regions of the world Interaction with team : - Working with business partners - Working with Project managers and architects. - Team consists of 15-20 folks, located globally. - Working with internal business partners and various developers. - Direct Team consists of 4 client employees US and other developers located in India Work environment : Onsite full time in Building AB (onsite 5 days a week ) Education & Experience Required: - Degree with 5+ years experience in this capacity - No degree, they must have 8 years or more in this capacity Required Technical Skills (Required) - IT related experience doing application Development, Support, and Architecture - Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle - Prior experience creating architecture diagrams and design documentation - Successfully implemented both API and ETL based integration architectures - Prior experience working with Saas and cloud based technologies - Experience working with major applications with that serve thousands of users located globally. Top candidate will have experience with: - Snowflake - Snaplogic - SQL - Python - AI - Github/Devops Soft Skills (Required) - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Ability to Learn - Troubleshooting
