You will replace complex Alteryx processes with modular, tested, code-based automation using dbt, SQL, Python, APIs, GitHub, and agentic development tools. The role combines data engineering, software engineering, systems design, and consulting and requires someone who can rapidly absorb business logic, collaborate with domain experts, and take ownership of production systems. Responsibilities Automation Architecture and Development Replace complex Alteryx workflows with modular Python automation Integrate operational systems through APIs Automate sophisticated workflows Apply agentic programming tools and practices Data Modeling and Engineering Build dbt models and Snowflake dimensions Consolidate operational data into trusted data layers Create efficient and reliable data pipelines Own and Operate Own and support business critical automation systems Diagnose failures, manage data-quality, and adapt integrations Maintain testing, observability, monitoring, and documentation Consulting and Business-Rule Translation Translate business rules into technical solutions Understand the holistic operational data model Communicate with technical and business stakeholders Transition from internal platform modernization into billable, client work Must Have Advanced Python, including API integration, modular application design, error handling, testing, and production automation Advanced SQL, including the ability to build governed analytical models Solid ownership of production systems: operating independently in a dynamic and complex environment Experience with GitHub, pull-request workflows, CI/CD, automated testing, and scheduled deployments Strong systems thinking and consulting ability Compensation Structure Employment Type: Full-time, compensated as a W2 hourly employee W2 Hourly Rate: $75–$110/hour, based on demonstrated technical breadth, production ownership experience, and client-facing capability Benefits: UnitedHealthcare (medical), Guardian (vision and dental) Profit Sharing: Aligned to performance-based revenue outcomes, paid annually Long-Term Upside: Participation in company growth as the business scales Want to be considered?
