Software Developer Java (5+ years) – with GenAI curiosity   Since 2006, Legitech has been the reference in Luxembourg as a legal editor with a variety of contents available on different media (paper and web) and a dedicated SaaS platform.  To join Legitech, we are actively looking to recruit under a full-time (40h/week) permanent contract:  1 Software Developer (m/f)   Responsibilities   Design, develop, test and ship new features on our SaaS platform (primarily back-end, with some front-end work depending on the project).  Contribute to the integration of new AI capabilities (especially GenAI) in a pragmatic way: prototypes, evaluations, and production-ready implementations when relevant.  Collaborate with product/production and business teams to clarify needs and deliver maintainable solutions.  Participate in code reviews and continuously improve code quality, performance, and reliability.  Provide occasional IT support to other employees of the company.  Maintain and improve some legacy products.  Profile   Must-have   At least 5 years of experience as a Java developer in a similar position. Solid foundations in back-end development with  Java , ideally with  Spring Boot . Good understanding of core software engineering practices (OOP, clean code, maintainability, testing mindset).  Fluent in  French or English .  A “builder” mindset: you like delivering working software and improving it over time.  Nice-to-have   Curiosity and hands-on interest in modern AI tooling, especially  Generative AI .  Exposure to  Google Cloud Platform , ideally  Vertex AI  (even via small projects, labs, or prototypes).  Experience with other GenAI ecosystems/tools (e.g., other cloud AI platforms, LLM APIs, frameworks) is a plus.  Familiarity with Agile/DevOps practices (Git, CI/CD, TDD basics).  Front-end experience with  Angular  is a plus.  What this role is (and isn’t)   We are looking for a  developer first : strong Java fundamentals and solid engineering habits matter most.  Interest in AI is important, but the goal is not “vibe coding” prototypes only: we want someone who can help build  reliable, maintainable, production-grade  features, including AI-powered ones when they add value.  What we offer   A varied and rewarding job in a well-known and innovative company.  Learning and development opportunities (including exposure to GenAI topics).  Flexible working hours .  Possibility of  partial remote work  depending on the team’s needs and the role’s activities.  Interested?
