Senior / Lead DevOps Engineer | Hungary

Description & Requirements Who we are looking for We're building out a cloud architecture practice in Hungary, focused on clients who are moving core infrastructure to the cloud — for real, not on a roadmap slide. Our clients need tested and reusable building blocks for cloud services, pipelines and modules that other teams can pick up and trust. As a DevOps Engineer, you'll build the development and deployment tooling that turns the "we approved this cloud service for use" decisions into "modularized, secure and easy to use cloud building blocks." It includes building CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code modules, and a catalogue of pre-approved building blocks that speed up delivery without cutting corners on security or compliance — the kind of thing that matters a lot in today’s cloud-based application development. Do you recognize yourself in this position? What we're looking for: 3–5+ years in technology consulting or a hands-on DevOps/platform engineering role Solid experience with CI/CD, containerization, and infrastructure-as-code in production environments Comfortable working directly with client engineering teams and understanding their constraints Practical mindset — you'd rather develop a working, well-tested module than write a strategy document about one Fluent in English and Hungarian. EU citizenship or a valid work permit to work in Hungary is required. Nice to have: Experience with banking, financial services, or other regulated industries Familiarity with cloud operating models, or migration strategy CKA/CKAD, an AWS/Azure/GCP DevOps certification, or Terraform Associate German - Upper-Intermediate or higher Your future role Design and build CI/CD pipelines at enterprise scale (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins) Build and maintain a catalogue of reusable, pre-approved infrastructure modules and deployment patterns (Terraform, GitOps via ArgoCD/Flux) Work with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes — EKS/AKS/GKE, Helm) Set up observability — logging, metrics, tracing (Prometheus/Grafana, Datadog, ELK, OpenTelemetry) Integrate security into the pipeline — SAST/DAST, container scanning, supply chain checks (SBOM) Support internal client teams directly, helping them adopt automated, self-service infrastructure Contribute to toolchain decisions and help close gaps between dev and ops ways of working What we offer Language courses and ongoing professional development.
