As the company continues to develop and expand its product offering, we are looking for an experienced Full-Stack Software Engineer to join their development team. The role You will design, build and improve scalable software products used within a demanding, real-world travel environment. Working across the full development lifecycle, you will contribute to both front-end and back-end development, help shape technical decisions and collaborate closely with product, design and engineering colleagues. Technology: Node.js, React.js, Express.js, TypeScript, MongoDB and AWS Key responsibilities Design, develop and maintain full-stack applications using Node.js, React.js and Express.js Build scalable back-end services, APIs and integrations Develop responsive, intuitive and high-quality user interfaces Design and work with MongoDB databases and data models Build, deploy and support cloud-based applications hosted on AWS Contribute to architectural decisions and the continued evolution of the technology platform Produce clean, maintainable and well-tested code Troubleshoot technical issues and improve application performance, reliability and security Participate in code reviews and promote strong software engineering standards Work collaboratively with product, design and commercial stakeholders Support applications throughout development, release and production Help improve development processes, tooling, testing and deployment practices What we are looking for Strong commercial software engineering experience within a product-based technology environment Extensive experience developing applications with Node.js Strong front-end development experience using React.js Practical experience building APIs and back-end services with Express.js Strong experience working with MongoDB Excellent commercial exposure and work experience with TypeScript Commercial experience building and deploying applications within AWS A solid understanding of software architecture, application performance and scalable system design Experience with automated testing, version control and modern development practices An understanding of application security and secure coding principles Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills The ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative engineering team Clear communication skills and a pragmatic, product-focused approach to development Technology: Node.js, React.js, Express.js, TypeScript, MongoDB and AWS Advantageous experience RESTful APIs and third-party integrations CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment Docker or other containerisation technologies Serverless AWS services Monitoring, logging and application performance tooling Working with media, streaming, content management or high-availability platforms Experience within aviation, travel technology or another complex operational environment Technology: Node.js, React.js, Express.js, TypeScript, MongoDB and AWS Why join?
