Job Description: We are seeking a Senior Python Developer specialising in data modelling and data governance to join our CDRR team. You will design and implement enterprise data models, Collibra metamodels, validation frameworks, and automation solutions supporting data governance, technology risk, cyber, fraud, compliance, and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities: Design and maintain enterprise asset models and governance structures in Collibra . Configure Collibra asset types, attributes, relationships, domains, communities, roles, responsibilities, and workflows. Develop reusable Python libraries and automation components using Pydantic for:Data schemas and validation Serialization and configuration management API-ready data models Metadata ingestion and governance workflows Build and integrate REST APIs using FastAPI , JSON, YAML, and SQL. Support data quality, lineage, reporting, traceability, and regulatory control solutions. Design scalable solutions for large financial, risk, cyber, fraud, and technology-risk data sets. Collaborate with data governance, architecture, technology, risk, compliance, and business stakeholders. Use AI-assisted development tools responsibly to improve coding, testing, documentation, and delivery quality. Follow modern engineering practices, including Git, code review, automated testing, documentation, and CI/CD. Required Experience: 10+ years of professional software development experience , including extensive Python development. Strong experience with Python, Pydantic, FastAPI, REST APIs, JSON, YAML, and SQL . Hands-on experience with Collibra or a similar data governance or metadata management platform . Proven experience in data modelling, metadata management, data validation, API development, or enterprise automation. Knowledge of:Data taxonomies and business glossaries Data lineage and data quality Critical data elements Data catalogues Data stewardship and governance workflows Experience in financial services, banking, risk, compliance, regulatory reporting, cyber, fraud, or technology risk. Strong communication, stakeholder-management, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Desirable Experience: Collibra APIs, workflows, Edge, Connect, and import/export tools. Integration with Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, Azure, GCP, Informatica, or data-quality platforms. Knowledge of BCBS 239, GDPR, CCPA, DORA, MiFID, Basel, or Solvency II. Experience with data mesh, data products, domain-driven design, or enterprise data marketplaces. Experience with GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, or similar AI-assisted development tools. Relevant data governance, cloud, data management, or architecture certification.
