We're hiring for an Australian Financial Services organisation building the next generation of internal cyber tooling. 3 vacancies available: 1 Manager + 2 ICs Build the agents, tools and systems that make security teams faster, more efficient and more effective. You'll have genuine ownership across the full lifecycle, from shaping what should be built and how it works, through to implementation and deployment. What You'll Do Design, build and operate applications and backend services for internal security tooling Integrate LLMs directly into production products Build agentic AI systems to make Cyber Security teams more effective. Build and maintain data pipelines that ingest and process security data, including logs, scan results and alerts, for both human and AI consumption Own solutions end-to-end: design, build, test, deploy and support in production Collaborate closely with security engineers and analysts to understand real workflows and pain points Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions and agile ceremonies within a DevOps-driven team Must-have Strong backend engineering experience with Python, using Flask, FastAPI or equivalent Real, production experience integrating LLMs into applications or products Hands-on experience with agentic AI patterns and tooling You know what AI good practices look like, the strengths and weaknesses Your curious, want to push boundaries A track record of owning systems end-to-end, from design through to production support Nice-to-have Familiarity with cyber security concepts, including vulnerabilities, threat data, SOC workflows and security tooling. Cyber can be upskilled. What's important here is the Software and AI expertise. Why This Role? Work on high-stakes, real-world problems where your tools directly improve how a security team operates Join a team that's serious about doing agentic AI properly Full ownership and autonomy over what you build Healthy package, benefits + bonus If this sounds like something you'd be interested in, click APPLY or reach out directly to [email protected] for more information.
