POSITION OBJECTIVE: Java Developer is responsible for development of Back-end Java applications for a distributed multiplatform Asset tracking system. Candidate must have 3+ years of experience in a similar position. POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES: Develop distributed software architecture Implement Back-end services - Java Handle Database version migrations, elastic beanstalk platform migrations Work with internal and off-site team of software engineers Demonstrate the ability to work on multiple projects MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Experience with Java 8 and Java 17 Deep understanding of core Java concepts Wide experience in Spring (Framework, Boot, Data, Cloud, Hibernate) Experience with Amazon DynamoDB  Strong knowledge Relational and Non-Relational Data Base design principles (My SQL) Experience with data streaming (Kafka, AWS MSK) Thorough understanding of software development life cycles and test processes Ability to create or review project technical documents and provide input as required Excellent problem analysis, troubleshooting and resolution skills Good communication skills Good command of English WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU: Product Company with interesting projects Paid vacation and sick time Public holidays Company sponsored events as well as a casual work environment Friendly team of professionals who are passionate about their projects Cozy office with parking  SALARY COMMENSURATE WITH EXPERIENCE
