Java Developer

What Awaits You Design, develop, and deploy Java-based applications, ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and scalability Implement API integrations with various external systems using RESTful and SOAP protocols, ensuring seamless communication and data exchange Developing business logic based on JEE using applications servers Optimize application performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure efficient utilization of resources in cloud environments Implement security best practices and standards to protect data and systems against potential threats and vulnerabilities Write clean, well-documented code and adhere to coding standards and guidelines Define and document data models for the applications Using test driven development techniques Using and maintaining a CI/CD pipeline Deploying the application to a Kubernetes cluster Working in an Agile team using Scrum/Kanban methodology and their derivatives Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and other Agile/Scrum ceremonies to ensure high-quality deliverables and on-time project completion End-to-end responsibility for application development Stay updated with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices to continuously improve skills and contribute to the team's success Transform business requirements into structured technical specifications Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects, and QA engineers to refine requirements What Should You Bring Along University Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business or a related field At least 5 years of experience on a similar Java Developer role is required Mandatory skills: MCP + Skills + Agents, PostgreSQL or similar, Data Mapping, VSCode + Github or similar IDE Experience in development with Java SE 11+ JUnit experience and knowledge Relational Database concepts and usage (PostgreSQL or other), NoSQL concepts and usage (MongoDB or other), Migration tools (e.g. Flyway) Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools for CI/CD, automated testing, and deployment (Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.) Nice to have: AWS/Azure, Terraform Good understanding of software design principles, design patterns, and best practices Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Excellent English verbal and written skills German communication skills will be a plus What do we offer?
