Nicosia, Cyprus [On-site] CRM.COM provides a repeat revenue platform serving clients worldwide with offices in the UK (HQ), Cyprus, Greece and Vietnam. We are inviting applications for a Software Developer to join our Development team in Nicosia, Cyprus. Please note this role is on-site — it is not a hybrid or remote position. This is an opportunity for an experienced developer to take business and functional specs and build production software against them end to end, working on the systems that power billing, rewards and digital money for clients worldwide. Job Summary, Duties and Highlights Take business and functional specifications and build production software Build and maintain microservices on Java + Quarkus, working with Kafka, Redis, MongoDB, REST APIs, and webhook/event-driven integrations, with some JS/TS at the edges Use Claude and other AI coding tools fluently as part of the standard way we build — for velocity, with the judgement to review and stand behind what they produce Read a complex business spec, hold it in your head, spot the gaps, and ask the right questions before writing a line of code Take pride in the work: care that what ships is excellent, not merely done Essential Experience and Skills: Minimum 3 years of experience building and shipping real production software Hands-on experience with microservices, Java + Quarkus, Kafka, Redis, MongoDB, REST APIs and event-driven integrations Comfortable and disciplined using AI coding tools day to day — fluent, not dependent, and never copy-paste without understanding Strong spec-reading and clarifying-question instincts; comfortable holding complexity and pushing back before building A genuine builder’s mindset, not a ticket-taker who needs the thinking done for them If the above is representative of you, please send your CV to [email protected] quoting “Ref: Software Developer Nicosia – LI” in the message subject.
