Title : Scrum Master, Technical Project Lead Location : US Remote – CST hours Type : Contract – Long term (12+ Months) Rate: $45 - $49/hr W2 + health benefits Work Authorization: Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future employer sponsorship. POSITION SUMMARY: Kanini Software Solutions is hiring for a skilled and certified Scrum Master to lead technical teams in delivering high-quality data/software solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of Agile methodologies , experience managing cross-functional teams and providing technical assessments. Healthcare domain experience is a significant plus, as this role supports projects in clinical, payer, or health tech environments. RESPONSIBILITIES: Facilitate all key Agile ceremonies: Daily Stand-ups, Backlogs, Reviews, and Retrospectives. Guide the team in effectively applying Agile/Scrum principles to ensure delivery of high-value features. Identify and remove impediments that hinder team progress. Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Development Teams, and stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment. Maintain and track team performance metrics (velocity, burndown charts, etc.). Coach team members on Agile best practices and continuously foster a culture of improvement. Support backlog refinement and sprint planning processes. Ensure Agile practices align with project goals, particularly in regulated or healthcare environments. SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS: Required Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PSM I/II, or equivalent Agile certification. 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master managing software development or data teams. Hands on technical experience with data integrations/migrations. Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe. Proficiency in Agile tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, or Rally. Excellent leadership, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills to work with distributed teams. Preferred : Experience in the healthcare industry (e.g., clinical systems, EHR/EMR, payer systems, health data analytics). Exposure to HIPAA-compliant environments or regulated data handling. Experience working with DevOps teams or CI/CD pipelines. Familiarity with Scaled Agile Frameworks (SAFe, LeSS, etc.).
