We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst to support the design and development of reporting dashboards and analytics for CAF and risk reporting tools within a major digital transformation programme. Job Summar yWe are looking for a highly skilled Technical Lead with strong expertise in Python, Django, and modern web application architecture. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading development teams, designing scalable Back End systems, and driving end-to-end technical delivery for enterprise-grade applications .The candidate should have hands-on experience with GOV.UK Frontend, authentication and authorization frameworks such as OIDC/OAuth, containerization technologies, and relational databases like PostgreSQL . Key Responsibiliti esLead the design, development, and deployment of scalable web applications using Python and Djang o.Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development team s.Architect secure and high-performing Back End systems and API s.Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms using OIDC/OAut h.Develop and maintain responsive user interfaces using GOV.UK Frontend standards and component s.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, DevOps, QA, and Architecture team s.Ensure code quality through reviews, best practices, and automated testin g.Design and optimize PostgreSQL database schemas and querie s.Manage containerized deployments using Docke r.Participate in solution design, estimation, and technical planning activitie s.Drive CI/CD adoption and engineering best practice s. Required Ski llsStrong experience in Python and Django framewo rk.Hands-on experience with GOV.UK Frontend framework and accessibility standar ds.Strong understanding of OIDC and OAuth 2.0 authentication mechanis ms.Experience with RESTful API development and microservices architectu re.Proficiency in Docker and containerized application deployme nt.Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL database design and optimizati on.Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development methodologi es.Good understanding of application security and performance optimizati on.Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skil ls. Preferred Qualificat ionsExperience working in government/public sector digital transformation proje cts.Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.Familiarity with Kubernetes and infrastructure automation to ols.Experience with Front End technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React (preferr ed).Strong communication and stakeholder management ski lls.
