QA Tester / Test Analyst Location: United States Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical QA Tester / Test Analyst to join our Quality Assurance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring software quality through systematic testing, defect identification, and collaboration with development teams. This role plays a critical part in delivering reliable, high-quality software products that meet business and customer requirements. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases based on business and technical requirements. Identify, document, track, and verify software defects using defect management tools. Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and testing needs. Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT). Analyze test results and provide detailed reports on software quality and test coverage. Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback to improve product quality. Develop and maintain test plans, test scripts, and test documentation. Support software releases by conducting validation and post-deployment testing. Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, methodologies, and best practices. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field. 2+ years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or test analysis. Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC). Experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail, or similar. Knowledge of manual testing methodologies and testing best practices. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams. Preferred Qualifications Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar. Knowledge of API testing using Postman, Swagger, or equivalent tools. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development environments. ISTQB or other QA-related certifications are a plus. Experience with SQL and database testing.
