Full Stack Engineer

Role Overview: We are currently seeking a Mid-Level Full Stack Software Engineer (Java ) to join an international development team in Prague. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to enterprise-grade applications that support critical business operations on a global scale. You will work in a DevOps-oriented environment, participating throughout the software development lifecycle, from design and development to testing, deployment, and continuous improvement. The position is suitable for a software engineer with approximately 3–4 years of professional experience who is looking to further develop their expertise in modern Java technologies, microservices architecture, and CI/CD delivery practices. Start Date:ASAP Contract Duration: Until 30 September 2026, with possible extension or permanent employment option Work Model: Hybrid (3 days per week onsite) Interview Process: Initial remote interview, followed by an onsite second-round interview if required by the client. What Will You Need To Succeed: Must-Have Skills: 3–4 years of software development experience Strong knowledge of Java 1.8+ Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Design and Development Experience with Microservices Architecture Hands-on experience with JPA / Hibernate Knowledge of JSP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript Experience with Maven and Git Experience working in environments utilizing CI/CD pipelines Understanding of Test-Driven Development Nice-to-Have Skills: Spring Boot and Java EE SQL and database technologies (MS SQL, Oracle) JMS, Message Queues, and ideally Kafka REST API development and integration JSON and XML processing Apache POI Jira or other issue-tracking tools Awareness of OWASP Top 10 and secure coding practices Exposure to AI-powered development tools and coding assistants
