Description

Bavarian Capital is expanding its technical team to support a Swiss financial institution as they grow their international presence. This Junior Web Developer role will be responsible for maintaining and building the digital assets that allow our partners to access financial information with clarity and precision. About the role In this position, you will be a contributing member of a remote development team focused on long-term project stability. You will work on a variety of web-based platforms, ensuring that they are functional, accessible, and aligned with our professional standards. This is a fully remote role that offers an entry-level professional the chance to work in a focused environment where the quality of the code is more important than the speed of the release cycle. What you will do Write clean and structured HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for our primary web platforms. Assist in the maintenance of existing layouts to ensure they perform consistently across all modern browsers. Support the integration of financial data feeds into user dashboards and reporting tools. Participate in regular code reviews to learn company standards and improve individual code quality. Troubleshoot and resolve minor bugs or layout issues reported by internal team members. Collaborate with the design team to translate visual requirements into functional web pages. Maintain technical documentation for web assets and internal development processes. Help test new features in staging environments before they are moved to production. Ensure all digital interfaces meet the accessibility and performance requirements of our global partners. What we are looking for A foundational understanding of modern HTML5 and CSS3 techniques for responsive design. Basic proficiency in JavaScript and an interest in learning how it interacts with financial APIs. Familiarity with version control systems, specifically Git, for managing code changes. An eye for detail and a preference for tidy, organized code structures. Strong written communication skills and the ability to explain technical tasks clearly. A disciplined approach to remote work and the ability to manage tasks independently. The ability to follow established style guides and technical specifications with accuracy. A background in computer science, web development, or a related field of study. What we offer A permanent, full-time position within a stable and respected investment firm. A fully remote work arrangement that supports a professional home life balance. Direct mentorship from experienced developers who value technical craftsmanship. The opportunity to learn the technical requirements of the European financial services industry. A collaborative environment where steady progress is prioritized over short-term trends. Professional pay that is attractive and competitive for an entry-level professional. Access to modern development tools and a clear roadmap for project goals. A workspace culture that emphasizes mutual respect and clear communication. Working at Bavarian Capital Our culture is built on the principle that focused, thoughtful work requires a calm environment. We do not subscribe to a culture of constant urgency, choosing instead to focus on the diligence and precision required for sustainable capital management. Every member of our team works remotely, which places a high premium on professional autonomy and reliability. We trust our developers to manage their schedules and deliver high-quality work that reflects the firm's reputation for stability. By joining Bavarian Capital, you are entering a professional home that values your craft and provides a predictable, steady pace for your career growth.
