Skills Required Commercial experience of core Java programming with strong proficiency Experience of working with a functional programming language Fundamental knowledge of Microservices Understanding of distributed system design and infrastructure Strong experience with distributed caching (REDIS) and relational databases, preferably with MSSQL, Oracle, Sybase IQ Good Exposure to middleware- Kafka, MQ Experience of working in a Linux environment Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Strong oral and written communication skills Excellent interpersonal skills and professional approach Ability to work effectively in a global and dynamic team Skills Desired Experience in the full software development life cycle Experience working in an agile team using Agile and DevOps practices & tools Experience working with Continuous Integration systems Experience with scheduler like Cron, Autosys, Control-M Experience with cloud-ready development, Docker containers Good to Know Scala Functional Programming (Willingness to learn) Good to have knowledge of automation and scripting languages (Python preferred) Good to have knowledge of Big Data – Hadoop, Spark etc.
