About The Role Barclays Services Corp. is seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer specializing in Securitized Products Technology to join their dynamic team in Whippany, NJ. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable, high-performance microservices and web applications. They will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to deliver innovative solutions that align with business objectives. The role involves working with cloud infrastructure such as OpenShift and AWS, utilizing modern development tools like Git, Maven, and Jenkins to ensure continuous integration and deployment. Responsibilities Design and develop complex software solutions using core computer science concepts, including algorithms and object-oriented programming. Create, enhance, and maintain technical features such as messaging, release engineering, caching, and failover mechanisms using Java, Spring Boot, and related technologies. Build, package, and deploy applications into cloud environments like OpenShift and AWS, ensuring seamless integration through continuous deployment pipelines with Git, Maven, and Jenkins. Develop scalable, high-volume microservice APIs optimized for cloud-based deployment and performance. Collaborate with product owners to understand business requirements and translate them into high-level design and development tasks. Develop front-end web applications utilizing JavaScript frameworks such as Angular or ReactJS, integrating with backend microservices APIs. Participate in unit testing, logging, monitoring, debugging, and performance tuning to ensure robust and reliable software delivery.
