Lead Java Developer

Job Title: Java Lead Location: Onsite – 5 Days/Week (Plano, TX and New York, NY) Industry: Banking / Financial Services Job Description We are seeking an experienced Java Lead to join our team supporting the Connected Consumer Banking (CCB) platform. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on Java development expertise, experience building cloud-native applications in AWS , and a proven background leading technical teams in an enterprise environment. Required Skills & Qualifications 10+ years of experience in Java development, with recent experience as a Java Lead Extensive experience developing applications in an AWS cloud environment Strong hands-on experience designing and developing Microservices using Java and Spring Boot Experience with REST APIs, distributed systems, and cloud-native architecture Strong knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and related frameworks Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud deployment Ability to lead technical discussions, perform code reviews, and mentor development teams Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Must be willing to work onsite 5 days per week Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in the Banking or Financial Services industry Experience working within Connected Consumer Banking (CCB) environments Former JPMorgan Chase (JPMC) experience is highly preferred and will be considered a significant advantage
