Company Description Ask Remedy is developing AI-enabled technology to improve medication safety, health literacy, and decision support for patients, carers, and frontline care staff. Our first product combines structured workflows, AI-assisted guidance, and clinical safety principles to help users navigate medication-related scenarios with greater confidence. As Ask Remedy is an early-stage company, there may be opportunities for share options. Role Description This is a part-time remote role for a Full Stack Mobile Developer . You will play a key role in building our AI-enabled mobile application, working closely with the founder, advisors, AI architecture consultant, and software as a medical device (SaMD) consultant to deliver a secure, scalable, and pilot-ready platform. The role involves developing and maintaining the mobile application, implementing AI-enabled workflows, integrating secure backend services, and delivering a high-quality user experience across iOS and Android devices. Responsibilities include: Developing the mobile application using an agreed technology stack (e.g. Flutter or React Native). Building secure user authentication, user management, and medication management functionality. Implementing workflow-driven AI interactions and scan-to-guidance functionality. Integrating backend services, databases, analytics, and AI APIs. Implementing audit logging, analytics, and workflow monitoring. Writing clean, maintainable, and well-tested code. Collaborating with the founder and specialist consultants to ensure the platform aligns with product, safety, and technical requirements. Contributing to technical architecture, documentation, deployment, and continuous product improvement. A growth mindset with the ability to manage priorities and deliver high-quality work to agreed deadlines. Qualifications Strong experience in full-stack software development, with experience building mobile applications. Experience with Flutter, React Native, or similar mobile development frameworks. Experience developing secure backend services, APIs, and database integrations. Familiarity with technologies such as Supabase, Firebase, PostgreSQL, or equivalent backend platforms. Experience integrating third-party APIs, including AI services. Knowledge of authentication, security, analytics, and audit logging best practices. Experience using Git, version control, testing frameworks, and modern development workflows. Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team and translate product requirements into scalable technical solutions. An interest in AI, digital health, healthcare technology, or Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) development is desirable. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience preferred.
