Description
About Courted Courted is the leading AI-powered platform for real estate recruiting, retention, and market intelligence. We help brokerages and teams understand agent performance, recruit strategically, and retain top talent, all in one place. The real estate industry moves over $100B in annual commissions, and it is still powered by spreadsheets, cold calls, and guesswork. We are changing that with AI. Our platform combines data, workflow, and machine learning to make every recruiting and retention decision smarter. We are a high-growth SaaS company shipping fast, working smart, and building transformative tools for the next generation of real estate leaders. The Role We are looking for a Product Manager to help build Courted's broker back office product area from the ground up. This is the operational core of a brokerage: transaction management, agent onboarding, commissions, and back-office accounting. It is complex, high-value work that most of the industry still runs on spreadsheets and manual effort, and we are building the software to replace that. You will take real problems from customer discovery through prototypes, MVP, beta, and iteration, working closely with brokers and operations leaders to understand how their businesses actually run. You will make clear product calls with incomplete information and learn fast from what you ship. This is not a role where you will be handed a spec or spend most of your time grooming a backlog. We are rethinking the traditional PM playbook. You will use Claude Code, Claude Design, Figma, and other AI tools to make ideas tangible and shape the product hand in hand with design and engineering. We build to learn: to expose weak assumptions early and give customers and teammates something concrete to react to. Velocity is critical here. This role turns ambiguity into evidence and shippable scope quickly, surfaces blockers early, and closes learning loops, without confusing speed with sloppiness. This is a great fit for someone who wants real ownership of a meaningful area and learns quickly. You get energy from moving between customer conversations, design, code, and the details required to ship, and you would rather build your way to an answer than debate it in the abstract. What You’ll Do Help build the broker back office product area: discovery, prototyping, MVP, beta, and iteration Talk to brokers and operations teams to understand their workflows, pain points, and workarounds Turn noisy, sometimes conflicting customer, design, and technical inputs into the smallest coherent product bet worth building Build working prototypes and thin product slices that make assumptions concrete and testable, moving between Figma, Claude Design, code-based prototypes, and mocked data based on the fastest credible way to answer the question at hand Work in the product codebase with Claude Code, Cursor, and similar tools to explore ideas, improve existing experiences, and build bounded functionality Partner with engineering to decide what can stay exploratory and what must be hardened for production, including reliability, testing, and maintainability Partner with design to create coherent interactions, use and extend the design system well, and raise the quality of what ships Define what good looks like before launch: success measures, failure cases, instrumentation, and evaluation plans for AI-driven capabilities Close learning loops quickly: get product in front of customers, watch what they actually do, and make the next call Work with sales and customer success to understand market needs, prepare launches, and drive adoption What You Bring 3-7 years of product management experience, ideally in B2B SaaS Experience taking something from an ambiguous idea to real users and iteration Evidence that you have personally built something functional with AI coding, design, or prototyping tools, or a clear appetite to work this way Comfort across documents, designs, data, and code. You do not need to be an engineer, but you should be familiar with how software is built Systems and root-cause thinking. You look past the visible feature request to the workflow, data, incentives, and constraints underneath it Strong customer empathy and experience conducting research that changes product decisions Great product and interaction taste. You can tell the difference between something that works and something that is genuinely useful, intuitive, and ready for customers Judgment about the limits of AI-generated output, when a prototype is sufficient, and when deeper technical or design expertise is required A strong bias toward action A low-ego, collaborative approach to working with engineers and designers. You expect your work to be critiqued, changed, or discarded as the team learns Bonus: experience with real estate, fintech, agentic products, or multi-sided B2B workflows Why Courted Real ownership, early: help build a critical product area from prototype through real customers The frontier of product craft: help define how an AI-native product team researches, designs, builds, evaluates, and ships AI and vertical depth: build at the intersection of machine learning and a $100B+ industry that is ready for better software Growth and visibility: work directly with founders, customers, and company leadership, and grow quickly doing it What It’s Like to Work Here We’re a small, focused team that values momentum, candor, and follow-through. Everyone builds and ideas don’t get kicked down the line We care a lot about the work and very little about titles. People here are competitive about outcomes, not credit We’re a high-trust team that ships fast and sweats the details We debate ideas, not people, fix things in daylight, and try to keep a sense of humor while doing it The Details The team is NYC-based and in office 3-4 days per week Salary range: $130,000 - $170,000 Health, dental, and vision insurance, with premiums fully covered 401k and generous PTO policy Covered team lunches Dog-friendly office This salary range represents the minimum and maximum for this role based in New York, NY. The salary given for this position depends on multiple factors, including experience, interview performance, and anticipated responsibilities of the role. Base salary is one component of Courted’s competitive total package, which also includes retirement savings, premium health and wellness benefits, lunches in-office, and more.
