Description
Pixel Systems is currently supporting a major French conglomerate that is expanding its digital efforts across its various departments. We are helping them move away from fragmented systems and manual spreadsheets toward reliable, integrated platforms. To keep these workflows organized and ensure our technical team stays on track, we are adding a Junior Project Management Coordinator. This is a full-time, fully remote position designed for someone who enjoys organizing information and keeping projects moving in a structured way. About Pixel Systems We are a small, remote software agency that builds the practical tools businesses need to function. We do not build flashy social apps or marketing sites. Instead, we focus on the underlying systems: admin panels, CRM integrations, and database migrations. Our clients come to us when their current methods are breaking down and they need a solid repository for their data or software that finally talks to one another. Our approach is straightforward. We provide fixed quotes before we start, we perform weekly demos, and we hand over everything when we are finished: the code, the documentation, and walkthrough videos. We use reliable technologies like Node, React, and Postgres because we value stability over following the latest trends. We are a team of experienced professionals who prefer solving real operational problems without unnecessary drama. The role In this role, your main task is to act as the organizational link between our development team and the project requirements. You will be helping to coordinate the digital expansion for our client, ensuring that tasks are clearly defined and that progress is documented correctly. You will be tracking internal milestones for tools like admin dashboards and data synchronization scripts. On a day-to-day basis, you will help update task boards, organize project documentation, and ensure that our developer updates are translated into clear progress reports. You will also assist in preparing for our weekly client demos. This includes making sure the handover materials, such as walkthrough videos and technical guides, are complete and ready for the client to use. Since this is a remote role, clear written communication is the primary way you will interact with the team. What we are looking for We need someone who is organized and comfortable managing a variety of small tasks at once. You do not need to be a senior project manager, but you should have a strong interest in how software projects are structured. We value people who are reliable and can handle the practical, sometimes repetitive side of keeping a project organized. Strong written communication skills and the ability to explain technical tasks in plain English. A high level of organization and a careful eye for the small things that keep a project running smoothly. A basic understanding of the software development lifecycle. Comfortable working in a fully remote environment using text-based communication. The ability to summarize long technical discussions into clear action items. A preference for structure and clear documentation over ambiguity. Willingness to learn how to use project tracking tools and software documentation platforms. Helpful background While this is an entry-level position, any familiarity with the following will be useful as you get started. We do not expect you to be an expert in these, but a basic understanding is helpful. Experience with ticket-based systems like Linear, Trello, or GitHub Issues. Basic knowledge of what APIs, databases, and frontend frameworks like React do. Familiarity with Google Docs, Notion, or other documentation tools. Any previous experience in a role that required heavy coordination or scheduling. Experience recording or editing brief instructional videos (like Loom). Working at Pixel Systems Working here means being part of a flat, remote team where your work directly helps real people, like warehouse managers or operations staff, do their jobs better. We do not have layers of middle management. You will work directly with our developers and designers to ensure the client is getting exactly what was promised. We offer a stable, professional environment where we prioritize shipping functional code over long, unnecessary meetings. The position is paid, and the compensation is competitive for the entry-level market. Because we are a remote company, you will have flexibility in how you manage your day, provided the work gets done and you are available for our core coordination needs. We provide a straightforward workspace where you can learn how professional software projects are managed from start to finish. We are a small team that values honesty and technical clarity. We are not interested in chasing the latest industry buzzwords, and we do not expect our team members to do so either. We focus on building tools that solve actual problems and providing our clients with code that lasts long after the project is done. If you prefer a pragmatic approach to project coordination, you will find a good home here.
