About The Role: We are seeking a Web Developer to join our team and contribute to building modern, scalable and high performing web applications. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop intuitive user interfaces and robust backend integrations using Node.js. Angular and TypeScript. What You’ll Be Responsible For: Develop, optimize and maintain web applications using Node.js and Angular. Write clean, modular, and reusable Typescript code following best practices. Implement responsive designs using HTML/CSS keeping cross-browser compatibility in mind. Work closely with designers and back-end developers to integrate APIs and UI components. Optimize web applications for performance, scalability, security and reliability Debug and troubleshoot UI/UX issues in development/UAT/production. Write unit and integration tests using frameworks such as Cypress or similar. Participate in code reviews and agile development sprints etc. What We’re Looking For: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering or related fields. 5-10 years of professional experience in software development with significant experience in Web UI development. Strong hands-on experience with Angular is required, including the ability to work effectively within a large, complex Angular codebase. Proven experience in JavaScript/Typescript/Node.js development. Experience integrating with RESTful APIs and third-party services. Understanding of UI performance optimization techniques – startup time, latency. Solid knowledge of security best practices (OIDC/OAuth2, RBAC, CORS, CSRF, etc) and awareness of known standards (OWASP Top Ten etc). Experience developing containerized applications that run in Docker/Kubernetes Experience working in Kubernetes environments (using Helm etc) Experience working with CICD tools such as Jenkins Strong understanding of Git/Github for version control. Strong communication and collaboration abilities in a global engineering environment. Good to have: Experience working in Agile and Continuous Deployment environments Experience working in Linux environments and proficiency in shell scripting Familiarity with AWS
