Description

webEVV is a healthcare technology company building a modern Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) platform for home healthcare agencies across Michigan. Our software helps agencies manage caregivers, patients, scheduling, compliance, payroll integrations, and billing through a cloud-based application used daily by real healthcare organizations. This is an excellent opportunity for a current Computer Science or Software Engineering student looking to gain real-world experience building production software. Successful interns may be offered a long-term position based on performance. What You’ll Do As a Software Engineer Intern, you’ll contribute directly to our production platform and participate in the entire software development lifecycle. Responsibilities include: Develop new features for our web application using TypeScript and C# Build and maintain REST APIs and backend services using .NET Improve the performance, reliability, and scalability of our platform Debug and resolve production issues Participate in code reviews and engineering discussions Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code Work with MongoDB and cloud-based infrastructure Assist with the migration of our mobile application to native Swift for iOS Collaborate with product and engineering to design new features Learn and apply modern AI-assisted software development workflows Preferred Qualifications Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field Experience with at least one programming language such as TypeScript, JavaScript, C#, Java, C++, or Python Familiarity with Git version control Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Excellent communication and willingness to learn Ability to work both independently and collaboratively Bonus Experience TypeScript React React Native C# / .NET Swift MongoDB AWS REST APIs Professional experience is not required. Personal projects, coursework, hackathons, and open-source contributions are encouraged.
