Your Mission Will Be Analyze and understand client datasets to ensure they are ready for advanced analytical solutions; Prepare, cleanse, validate, and transform data using programming languages and scripting tools to support model development; Build, optimize, and refine machine learning models by engineering features and adjusting parameters to improve predictive performance; Partner with cross-functional teams to enhance methodologies, processes, best practices, and data science tooling. You Will Need MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Physics, or a related field, together with solid knowledge of machine learning principles and model evaluation techniques; Hands-on experience with Python, Bash, and either Java or Scala, as well as familiarity with Big Data technologies such as Spark and Hadoop; Understanding of resource monitoring, runtime optimization, and performance tuning at both operating system and JVM levels; CPLP nationality or an EU work permit is required to facilitate employment. Would Be Awesome If You Have Experience with statistical analysis and data visualization techniques; Knowledge of tree-based machine learning algorithms such as Random Forest, XGBoost, or LightGBM; Familiarity with Deep Learning concepts and frameworks; Previous experience working in collaborative and cross-functional data science environments.
