Job Title: Senior Python Developer Location: Georgia Experience Required: 12+ Years Employment Type: W2 Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Senior Python Developer with 12+ years of software development experience to design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Python development, cloud technologies, microservices architecture, API development, and modern DevOps practices. Experience in building high-performance, distributed applications in Agile environments is essential. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Python and related frameworks. Build scalable RESTful APIs and microservices using FastAPI, Flask, or Django. Develop and optimize data processing pipelines and backend services. Implement cloud-native solutions on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. Design and maintain relational and NoSQL databases. Integrate applications with third-party systems and APIs. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices. Implement unit testing, integration testing, and automated deployment pipelines. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, business analysts, and DevOps engineers. Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and production support activities. Lead technical discussions and mentor junior developers. Work in an Agile/Scrum environment and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Required Skills 12+ years of software development experience with at least 8+ years of hands-on Python development. Strong experience with Python, FastAPI, Flask, and Django. Expertise in developing REST APIs and Microservices Architecture. Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and design patterns. Experience with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL. Experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB, Redis, or DynamoDB. Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform services. Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized deployments. Proficiency with Git, GitHub, GitLab, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines. Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ. Strong understanding of Linux/Unix environments. Experience with unit testing frameworks such as PyTest and automation testing practices. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Preferred Skills Experience with Data Engineering, ETL, Pandas, and NumPy. Exposure to Apache Spark, Airflow, or Databricks. Experience with GenAI, OpenAI APIs, LangChain, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG). Knowledge of Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). Experience in Banking, Financial Services, Healthcare, or Insurance domains. AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform certifications are preferred. Education Bachelor''s or Master''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
