Java Software Engineer

Our client is looking for a Java Software Engineer Responsibilitie sCooperate with team members and architects to develop reliable business solutions .Build and validate new functionality covered by unit, integration, and acceptance tests .Ensure knowledge sharing within the team .Conduct code reviews .Stay up to date with the latest technological developments and anticipate future product needs .Continuously improve the technical stack .Participate in the hiring process of new talent .Deliver value as part of the product development team using Scrum or Kanban framework s Technical skil lsExperience working with Java in an enterprise environmen t.Strong knowledge of Java fundamental s.Experience developing web application s.Experience working with relational database s.Strong experience in implementing web application s.Strong experience working within a defined software development process (e.g., Scrum, Kanban ).Strong experience using software development toolchains (e.g., version control systems, IDEs, build systems, CI/CD pipelines, test frameworks, issue tracking and project management tools ).Proven knowledge of design pattern s.Experience maintaining and supporting production-critical system s.Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD ). Soft ski llsGood written and verbal communication skills in Lithuanian and Engli sh.Ability to work effectively as a team memb er.Ability to share knowledge with team membe rs.Ability to work independent ly. Preferred Sk illsExperience with AWS.Java certificati ons.Experience in building fintech soluti ons.Experience working in a mid- to large-scale IT organization (at least 40 membe rs).Experience with front-end technologies (e.g., JavaScript, HTML, C SS).Experience building and supporting high-load web applications and solving scalability iss ues.
