This role is remote from Romania for EU citizens. Senior Java Tech Lead to drive technical excellence, lead new feature developments, and contribute to the strategic evolution of the platform with the following tasks: Take the technical lead on new feature developments, driving them from requirements through to completion. Actively contribute to the design, implementation, and testing of the platform, collaborating closely with architecture to ensure strategic consistency. Design features and platform enhancements in adherence to development standards and best practices. Accountable for monitoring and improving owned services in production. Support, mentor, and drive forward improvements to designs, tools, and techniques. Contribute to design and architectural forums to push the platform's technical excellence forward. Required technical skills: Java Mastery: Significant commercial experience with Java 17 and above, Spring Boot, and Hibernate. Architecture & APIs: Strong experience in Microservices & RESTful API development, OO analysis & design, and SQL. Methodologies: Solid background in TDD & BDD, Agile practices, and a strong DevOps culture. Nice to have: Experience with AWS services, testing tools (JUnit, Cucumber, Web Driver), Git, Jenkins, Maven, Unix/Shell scripting, and basic frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript). 🚀 Do you recognize yourself in the "Who" and represent the "What"?
