We are looking for a Tech Lead specialized in Java and Kafka with a strong background in the banking sector . This role requires a highly autonomous professional who can take ownership, proactively solve complex challenges, and operate independently in a fast-paced, regulated environment. 📍 Location: Hybrid. Madrid city center (Sol area). 3 days a week in the office. 🔗 Language : English is a must. Spanish desirable. 📋 Key Responsibilities Proven experience with Java , including Spring Boot . Strong expertise in Oracle PL/SQL (DB19 preferred) . Hands-on experience with system integrations, interface management, and scripting . Solid background in Kafka and/or IBM MQ (mandatory). Deep understanding of REST APIs , JSON, and XML. Experience across the application lifecycle , including CI/CD pipelines . Knowledge of deployment and orchestration tools, particularly Octopus Deploy (Jenkins is a plus). Experience working with GitHub and/or GitLab . English Level required: C1 📋Nice to Have Knowledge of SWIFT messaging . Understanding of investment products and financial instruments . Experience within financial markets or capital markets environments . 📋 Work schedule Business Hours.
