Role: AWS Cloud Security Engineer Location: Morrisville, NC Hybrid work Full-time role. Responsibilities Of The Cloud Security Engineer Include Ensure secure AWS configuration by maintaining environments aligned with best practices, STIGs, CIS benchmarks, and NIST 800-53 controls Identify and remediate security gaps through continuous monitoring, documentation of findings, and creation of remediation tickets Engage stakeholders by leading discussions on configurations, vulnerabilities, and recommended actions Collaborate across teams including DevOps, IT, and Compliance to support secure cloud operations Automate and document security processes using cloud-native tools and scripting while maintaining clear security documentation Qualifications For The Cloud Security Engineer Include 2+ years of professional cloud security engineer experience Ability to work in the U.S. Experience with AWS, IAM, KMS, CloudTrail, GuardDuty, security Hub, and WAF Hands on knowledge with SIEM tools Proficiency in scripting and automations
