Following recent legislative changes enabling electronic and hybrid voting methods for statutory trade union ballots, CES is expanding its Industrial Action team to support increased delivery requirements.  The Industrial Action Delivery Coordinator (Data) prepares, validates and processes voter and voting data throughout the ballot lifecycle. Working from requirements provided by client-facing project managers and delivery specialists, the role ensures communications are produced accurately and in accordance with operational and statutory requirements. This role provides an excellent entry pathway into a career in project delivery.  Why you will love this opportunity as Data Coordinator (Elections & Ballots) at Civica for a 12-month fixed-term contract You'll play a hands-on role in one of the most important areas of democratic process work in the UK, project delivery, data processing and quality assurance. Working closely with experienced delivery specialists and project managers, you'll build the skills and knowledge needed to progress your career within Civica Election Services. What you will do to be successful in this role   Responsibilities:  Receive and process data files provided by client-facing project managers and delivery specialists  Validate, cleanse and deduplicate voter data  Prepare electorate data for postal, electronic and hybrid ballots  Allocate and manage voter credentials using approved processes  Maintain audit trails and processing records  Perform quality assurance and reconciliation checks  Process returned vote files and generated interim and final reports  Escalate data quality issues promptly  Follow data protection, information security and operational controls  Work collaboratively with client-facing project managers, delivery specialists, production, reporting and support teams  Requirements An interest in politics, elections, ballots, or the governance of trade unions or membership organisations  Excellent attention to detail and accuracy  Strong numerical and analytical skills  Strong organisational skills  Ability to follow documented processes  Comfortable learning new systems and technologies  Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word, Outlook and Excel and Access, SQL or other database experience desirable Ability to prioritise and deliver work to deadlines  Team-working and collaboration skills    We Want You to Bring Your Whole Self to Work  There is no such thing as the perfect candidate, so if you think you have what it takes but don't necessarily meet every single point on the list above, please still get in touch. We'd love to have a chat and see if you could be a great fit.    Why You'll Love Working with Us  As a company, we're passionate about what we do and the citizens we serve.
