Software Engineer

Responsibilities: Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable software solutions. Collaborate with the Technical Lead and cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and deliver business solutions. Write clean, efficient, secure, and maintainable code following best engineering practices. Participate in software architecture discussions and contribute to technical decision-making. Optimize application performance by identifying bottlenecks and implementing effective solutions. Develop and maintain automation tools, internal applications, and workflow improvements where needed. Work with AI-assisted development tools responsibly while maintaining high code quality and security standards. Contribute to software testing, debugging, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives. Stay up to date with emerging technologies and recommend improvements when appropriate. Requirements: Proven experience in backend software development , with exposure to frontend technologies considered an advantage. Strong proficiency in Python . Working knowledge of at least one additional programming language, such as C++, PHP, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Golang . Ability to understand and work across different technology stacks. Familiarity with AI prompt engineering for software development. Solid understanding of secure software development principles, including secure coding practices and common application security risks. Good understanding of software performance optimization , including profiling, caching, concurrency, efficient data structures, and resource optimization (CPU, memory, and I/O). Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) . Experience with automation pipelines and development workflows. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently while communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Excellent written and spoken English. Nice to Have: Personal software projects, GitHub repositories, or open-source contributions that demonstrate technical curiosity and initiative. Experience developing software within the online casino or iGaming industry. Experience building automation tools, scripts, internal platforms, or workflow automation solutions. Hands-on experience with AI development or AI-powered applications. Knowledge of cloud platforms, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, databases, and dependency injection (IoC).
